um... what are you talking about? Alcohol freezes at -173 degrees Fahrenheit. Not 32. I dont know why Fahrenheit is aranged the way it is. Celcius make more sence, as far as weather goes. Here:

80 F - To hot for comfort. = 26 2/3 C

70 F - Perfect = 21.1r C

Were Fahrenheit has a defference of 10, you have difference of 5.5r

Thats why I would rather use Fahrenheit. It is more precise, with out useing halfs or fractions. Alot easyer in science and math ect.

That, my entire freaking country uses Fahrenheit. Does some one out there use Kelvin? That would be funny!

I remember when I was in 8th grade, we had to learn the metric system because soon "all of the united states would convert"

that was 20 years ago, I am still waiting to take advantage of that knowledge...(I do have a set of metric wrenches tho' user added image)

perfect temp for me =72F user added image

Well, metric is easier for most, as it is based on the very system by which we count.

farenheight makes no sense! celsius does make more sense are far as temperature goes:

-20 oC = bloody cold
0 oC = freezing
30 oC = very damn hot

I don't recall anyone ever saying something like: it's going to be 24,3° C or 12,5° C tomorrow.

we use normal numbers like 24 or 13 then.

and btw: metric system rulezuser added image

Alan, let me join you going up to Scotland!

We can sit it out in some pub with our laptops, doing Maya and supporting the Real Ale Campaign as good as we can! user added image

Or we can go right up (and out) to St. Kilda, but then we'd need to bring our own pints (and batteries for the comps). user added image

Slàinte! user added image

P.S. Yesterday it climbed up to 40.8°C (german record!)
