Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

coming along nicely.
one crit; looking at the front shot, on her blouse underneath her breast to her armpitt, that area seems very flat. almost running a 90 degree angle under her arm pits, while near her waist there is a little more curvature.

Hey Vlad

Yeah good spot, I'd done some creases there that I was happy with and deleted those and didnt reshape it. Will do later on..

Well as spotted earlier, breast area is reshaped and the main jacket is now done. All that is need now for this part are clasps and buckles...

no crites, a question...,

there is a seam that runs diwn the middle of her in the 3/4 view but not from staight on?

what is it?

did you use this device I hear a lot about, 'instancing' or did you mirror, or both? (or what?)

how many hours on this so far, roughly...

and of course.., dam awsome work.

Hey Mirek

Thank you...Crits or questions are all welcome.

Im using mirror instancing to model it. The seam down the middle will need a tweak toward the end of modeling to 'blend' it in. But as far as the seams visibility goes, its just the viewing angle.

Time wise on this model, I really couldnt say, though I wish I could spend a full day on it to really push ahead. Because of other work its been a case of 5 minutes here and 1hr there ya know. Its a little frustrating somedays when I have to bring home my day work and do that. Even though its Maya related, I like to keep home and day work well away from each other. Hopefully though in the next week or so I should be able to pick things up a little quicker as Im coming to the end of some freelance work...watch this spaceuser added image
