This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
coming along nicely.
one crit; looking at the front shot, on her blouse underneath her breast to her armpitt, that area seems very flat. almost running a 90 degree angle under her arm pits, while near her waist there is a little more curvature.
Im using mirror instancing to model it. The seam down the middle will need a tweak toward the end of modeling to 'blend' it in. But as far as the seams visibility goes, its just the viewing angle.
Time wise on this model, I really couldnt say, though I wish I could spend a full day on it to really push ahead. Because of other work its been a case of 5 minutes here and 1hr there ya know. Its a little frustrating somedays when I have to bring home my day work and do that. Even though its Maya related, I like to keep home and day work well away from each other. Hopefully though in the next week or so I should be able to pick things up a little quicker as Im coming to the end of some freelance work...watch this space
