A helpfull thing, in case you don't have any suitable reference fotos, which show the pose you're going for is to use poser software such as Daz 3D or Makehuman. Also adult sites have a lot of useful ref pics, cause many of the poses you would never see in any anatomy book or on a serious ref foto which was made for artists. My painting of the cat character some posts above I made with help of such a ref foto for example.

Tried the new method THX...thanks for that...once I get the hang of it...and use inner glow outer glow etc a bit I reckon I will have it.
