Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Awesome... If you want to tweak it, the nose might need some more rounding. Anyhoo, I'll be starting to record the texturing tutes at some point next week.

thanks KB ....
I know what you mean about the nose, it actually looks less rounded in this the render, but I will probably have a tweek with it some more user added image
not sure whether to go full out on the controls or just do enough to make it look credible and add a little more detail in the texturing.

yes this was a fantastic tutorial for learning new things..I have already thanked KB for his generous insights into his modeling techniques.
I know this has already made me a better modeler and helped my general workflow too.
Can't wait for the texturing..even if it does envolve hours of UV's ..lol

Look great mate.

KB How far are you going to go with this Tutorial? will it end at Texturing? or are you planning on covering some Animation/VFX? (would sure like to see this apache blow up something user added image

The modeling Tutorial is the best i have seen, (I feel i can model anything with Polygons now user added image )

Be cool.

yes, there will be some sort of animation, rendering and compositing. not sure about blowing up something since that would add quite a bit more stuff to do... we'll see...
