No, I know that, but the poly count is real BIG !!!! When you toggle "wireframe on shaded", the model just turns black.

No, it's something like...millions of small wires connected...maybe i will reduce it. Or it will be really hard to do anything.
Ok, I get the picture now. I get the impression you polysmoothed a little too much when you started the model. If thats the case, I reccomend you start over from scratch. It might be pretty hard to reduce your polycount if you mesh is that heavy. Still, I would like to see a screen shot of what it looks like, if you would be so kind.
