glad you figured it out matt, that was what I meant (the tablet as a whole, not just the drawing area) user added image

its looking better now, just that reflective thing to sort out

yea no refection on the wacom would be better if your keen on reflection maybe add a glass of water at the side of it all?

Ok, so I will post a final picture of my WACOM. I think I'm pretty well done, I might add soem more of an environment, but apart from that I think I'm basically done.
Now I will be making another model
I don't know what to choose from, but I think I will look for a while.

Yeah, thanks, I cant get rid of the odd shadow though!!!! Grr, it makes me mad..

if you are using MR then it is probably a photon problem. Thats what it looks like to me. Try increasing your photon count until it starts to look right then you will know if you are on the right track or not.

Looks good otherwise.user added image

The shadow could also be a result of too low FG rays settings if your using that..or maybe adust min max radius..dunno if not then disregard this. ;p

I've recently had to deal with this problem in my renders and it looked kinda like that.

I saw that you submitted your final work Matt. Congratulations, you sure do know how to render something. Looks really good (love the glow you have on the edge of the tablet). Pitty you didn't manage to smooth that shadow, but asides from that it truly is very close to the real thing. Congratulations again user added image
