This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
im not sure how GI works but i just switched it on and gave the hdri photons but i was taking absolutly forever so im scaping that idea. need to read up on GI as i have no idea about it.
GI is an approximation of real light that bounces on walls etc. Mostly used for indoor scenes, since you're using HDRI there's really no point using GI. And by looks of your scene using GI would be useless.
thanks pal (i Try)
i need to work on the lighting some more i want it to look really realistic but dont know where to go from here.
Will upping the Fg rays do anything?
I think the lighting looks fine so far. You might want to start to add a bit of dirt to the model, also it the glass a plane or a small cube as it looks a little "flat" so to speak
yea the glass can be made thinker as its a cube. and yeah ill add i few more edges to make the hole rounder.
Thanks for all ure help and folowing my progress really helps me get to where i wanna be.
