Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

I mean the filter that Maya puts on the file textures by default when you stick an image file into them? As in pic..
Just wondering cause if you have, if you turned it off, it might help crispen up the texture...

The lighting on the hair is good. How did you do that...just with Maya lights? Or is that in the hair material itself?

It does look really good. What about occlusion...are you going to add any? Its a pain in Maya isnt it when using normal and displacement maps to get an occlusion pass that matches up. What else do you plan to do to it? you dont often go for much postwork in Photoshop...do you?

Pretty much final... not sure my texture skill can take it any farther as of right now still learning alot. Changed the direction of the main lights a bit. I add some more ones in the ligher areas here and there. Off to something new.

I dig the model mate, love the zombie. Im no expert...but it seems there is a shitload of brown in the image...was this the intent...or more I should say a real 'earthy' tone to it. I would assume this was part of the plan Kurt?? Nice going...any idea or 'hint, hint' on what is next in the pipeline?

cheers bullet
