Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

I must say you are well into this project it seems Garry! Looks pretty good imho.

Can you tell us about any idea about the final scene?

Here is the total scene so far.........

I still have a bit to go........

Cave Walls need to be tidied up
Clothes still to be added.
Maybe a flame on the wall.

I might add a fish or two for fun.

I'm still thinking about ituser added image

I have one tip; the dead guy "should" have his fingers bent slightly, in order to look natural. The fingers you made look very nice by the way.

Wow garry, this is great! A whole scene! I really like this user added image. Are you going to add a "fog" to the scene? To give that light more of an effect? I think it would be cool user added image

I'm working on the background at the moment.

Had a play with low mist patches a few days ago. I will probably use some for the final scene along with D.O.F.

Still have to add hair and clothes.

Hey Garry1953 - looks great.

a couple ideas - the water looks a little too clear/smooth - maybe if you took the lights down, especially any ambient light, so that the shadows were more extreme - it could add a lot of mood to the scene

body looks really good - just a little odd bulge where the back of his neck connects to the body

looking forward to the final shot! user added image
