Thx Mike..Dae..yes im planning on a special move as is described ealier in the thread although maybe a lil ambitious i think as im just about getting to grips with animation, the problem i foresee is she is going to use her lance as a kinda pole vault so she can kick high in the air but im not sure yet how im gonna keep her gripping the pole during the kick.
Been playing a lil with photoshop.

Thx lonepig../ Ice...however im not sure if ill be able to continue much further as i have been kinda drawn into the large area of rigging.... and the quest for knowledge has got me neck deep in tutorials and techniques.
I really dont know when ill be able to climb out and put some of it to the test..i hope its soon but theres a lot to learn it seems but im enjoying it all the same. user added image

Shame to hear that Chipper, i'm in a similar position having never fully rigged a character before. But hay we've got a great source of knowledge right here.

Best of luck with it.

Did you find a tut yet Chip? You really don't need anything elaborate to start with, just do a simple rig and smooth bind, I think there is a tut on skin weights hanging arround the forum too. You got the maya anim book?, think there is a simple tut in there. If not let me know and i'll did one out and send it to you.
