This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
very good.. now is the shadowing or occlution baked in to the texture ? very nice..
only thing about the texture I see is it looks like if you did bake some lighting you might not have done it with a smoothed verstion. but other than that it looks really cool.
Thanks Pony, I actually enjoyed texturing the model, altho uv's are still unpleasant.
All the texturing was done by hand with the 3d paint tool, using a small Wacom tablet.
I'm trying to keep the number and size of texture files down in spirit with a low-poly game model, altho there are a few i'd like to add, so I might end up with a few more than at present.
Thanks Mike, i'll have something entered ontime just due to external presures, don't you just love em, i've haven't been able to get as much done as I was planning.
Oh yes and good luck to everybody else, there are some outstanding pieces of work being produced for this challange.
