nice job sokol - this is looking very good.

one thing that's throwing it off - i think - is the sky - i think either the clouds are too big or maybe the perspective of the clouds isn't working with your scene.

i might also play with your composition - it's usually difficult to get a dead flat on scene right - especially because you have nothing going on in the foreground - which just gives the sense of a huge empty space. i might try moving the camera closer and down to an approximate eye level - which will help with the sky, or better yet - try viewing the scene from a left side angle - this will really help make the viewer feel like part of the picture - take a look at some of tweetytunes lastest images - especially in the street level scenes - you feel like the buildings are large. at the moment in your scene the viewer feels like they are looking at toy buildings.

hey there, i'm new to maya and this foroum too...
making a new change, i was working with cinema 4d before

well try to give a bit of depth to the background by bluring it out.

you dont have to have such a wide angle, make a cafeteria with some tables and put the camera among them, it may look more full

Thank You guys for the ideas. Arran I think You are right about it. I have not been able to work on this scene for the last few days because anytime I try to render, 3ds crashes. I think is vray that does it. because I can render very well with skyline. I try to give my 3ds Max more memory for rendering but I am using it on windows xp pro. Windows xp pro does not let applications to use more then 1.5 GB Ram. I even try the 3gb switch. My scene is very heavy in textures. So for now I can not make any changes. I wish I could, but I know it will crash again. And Zizopoulos, there are some great video tutorials here on Simply Maya. You will feel right at home here. Welcome

I still think the trees need to not be in pots at all above the ground, what was mentioned earlier would be a great idea. A square cut out of the ground with a tree in the center, a grate around the base of the tree and some dirt in the square.

I would also suggest leaving the trees you had at the larger size, even though you changed the size of the bike and the benches, trees do grow larger than humans and at all different shapes and sizes so the larger trees weren't much of an issue, just how they're in pots.

Other than that one issue, this is coming along nicely, good job!

Thank You. You are right about the trees. That will reduce my overall polycount too. I will get right back to it and do some more work. I just hope to finish on time. Few more days. Thank's again
