This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
I just hope it was a financial success for simply maya, it would be nice if we could run one of these twice a year, I also would like to see the monthly challenges back to give the newbies a chance to take part...........dave
It was a very close challenge we will be announcing the results at the end of the week. Along with the next challenge.

From a readers' Q and A column in TV GUIDE: "If we get involved in a nuclear war, would the electromagnetic pulses from exploding bombs damage my videotapes?"
I dont consider it a bad thing at all - not at all. Just a little tongue in cheek....
Its like when we gave away free points a while back, it was amazing to see all these members come out who never post or appear on the site at other times.
All good things come to those who wait.....as far as Im concerned all you guys that finished were part of something I havent seen in my infantile time here. Good competition...helping each other by crit or kudo...doesnt matter...even though a lot of people did jump in for the prize...at the end of the day you all shared in something unique...and that cannot be taken away from any of you...despite who wins...in fact we all win...by seeing some damn fine work.
