Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Have you tried big shorts and small legs? That might work for the bottom half and balance it out a bit. Big shorts might also match big shoes. The top half is looking really good- nice!

LOL, lookin awesome! Hahaha, one thing though.. tennis player right? I can understand the wide eyes ( I LOVE them) and the nose is great, and i can understand the big hands for the purpose of holdin the raquet.. but the small legs kinda look to me like he wouldnt be able to serve jack all. Hmm, but it doesnt have feet on it yet, yea.. make large feet, maybe make the legs a bit thicker.. and that would look great user added image... Ooh, maybe you could take the shorts, and make them 2 times as big as the legs.. so that its like, they fan out until they reach his ankles.. if you understand what i mean. Anyways, looking great so far user added image, keep it up.

Nice shoes! Perhaps have them in proportion to the hands and make them a bit bigger. The shorts could be wider and then they would look a bit more baggy- at the moment they look a bit like cutoff trousers.

thanks for the comments guys

here's a slight change (i know i apologise for the amount of posts of similar pics)

made the shoes bigger and made the shorts baggier(cheers witchy)

I think the model is nearly finished (need teeth yet)- gotta texture it and then rig it - i bought Maya Character Animation so going to try and rig it using methods from there - seems to cover every possible aspect and looks complicated as hell but I will give it a blast (sure to learn summat from attempting it!!)

cheers
