This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
Hey rich , im loving this annd love the baggy pants . One thing thought that keeps staring me right in the eye is the rim around your eyeballs.. i dont know if thats supposed to be the skull showing.. but if it is it may be better to smooth it out a bit, or take it away totally.. seeing that its kinda givin off a more semi-realistic feel.. which is not what the challenge is about .. also, on your hands you have lines running where the joints are... can you post a close render of the hand? I think the knuckles should be exaggurated . Lol, anyways, this is just my opinions.. truly is looking great though .
BTW, thanks again for telling me that link to that method of making a face.. it really helped a lot! I actually used that technique until i just had the front of the face done, then I used mikes poly head tutorial to do the rest, it made it so fast and cut down polys a lot! Anyways, thanks again.. as i dont know how i would of done that!
"I should call you sugar maple tree cause i'd totally tap that" haha
m - I will check out the eye - I am not totally sure which part you mean - could you possibly outline it for me on one of the renders?
I am going to post the hand shot soon - check it out and tell me what you see.
Regarding the method of the head production - no problem I just found it reasonably straight forward to produce good results - thought other people might be able to use it as well.
SH*T just lost lots of recent update!! frickin maya seemed to lock up while undoing a smooth of the teeth I created - I had been saving regularly, under the same filename - then it seemd to corretc it self - so I quickly saved where I was at - during which it bombed - so I restarted maya and loaded the newest scene - which had been reduced to 5-6 items (( boohoo
well I have made some teeth for ma heed - gonna stick em in and then make a tongue and try some facial anim stuff - never really tried blendshapes before - should be insteresting
