Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Great job Mike

It's work like this that makes me realize what a hack I am.

24 hours to model, uv layout, and texture!

It would take me 3 months just to get the uv's laid out! (I hate UV unwrapping).

Add to that keeping up with your 9-5 job and writing the book. You're an animal!

Good luck and I'll be looking forward to getting my own copy of the book.

Rick M.

PS ...

PS - I was looking at the cartoons on your website and I think I improved on one of your students girl models. His seemed a bit to boxy. There is something still not quite right, but I can't quite put my finger on it?

6 hours to model
90 hours to uv layout
400 hours to texture

Don't we all?

Mike: My only suggestion is that the face and the skin, I think, lack a bit of detail, they kind of pull me away from the character.

Anyway looks great mate!

When is pre-order comming out?

p.s. Mike make more comics!!!
