This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
yeah same here, i kinda liked the old skin colour..this one is too redish, pinkish and abit of orangish looks like he got torcherd really bad all around the body. the boots look cool and kind of look like christmas socks if you changed them red.. lol
arran has made a valid point with the boots, maybe add some straps or give them a bit of armour or something... and yeah the skin tone is a bit 'fake tan' looking. Other than those things it looks cool.
here is an update...new skin color. Sword added. Working on a replacement to the boots, some armor thingy. I think Im going to add a helmet at some point too.
yeah great colour, also the sword looks sweet... it does it need to be a little beefed up like petrol said and i reckon after you finish it, you could maybe make it a bit lighter and shiner to get that look... cheers, marlon
Nice modeling man.. looks real good...
Just had one questions..
What did you use for REference for the guy?..
Some random images offline?.. Fineart or 3d.sk?... something you drew yourself?..

Hi Guys, thx for the comments. As to the references used I posted them earlier in page 2 or 3. The one image missing is one of Arnold S. that I superimposed over the one I showed. Actually, i would recommend going through the thread, is pretty neat the progression on this bad boy.
i hope i found the right ones, spent 10 secs and found it well i cant complain, i just got a 22" widecscreen monitor for christmas and everythings much easier to find
new footwear works much better, goes along with the arm braces, and seems more era-appropriate. with the rest of his gear - nice work. planning on adding any battle damage/scars?
