This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

I think that it is ok to use larger images as long as they are hosted on another site.

First the surfer, and now the moutain... if you're a noob than this is truly high praise. Either way, nice looking model. The foot looks good, but has geometry overlap that wouldn't work in real life... but then again this isn't real life, so rock on.

you don't need to be extremely experienced to put in lots of detail. Everyone should learn that "beauty is in the details" at one time or another. Metallicjet simply learned it early on. this looks excellent, by the way. I don't think this knowledge is any reason to penalize him.

I don't think its being penalized really. He's being recigniced for the nice skillz. My Opinion there perfictly suited for normal. I'm sure of normals are thinking thats good and wanting to do better them selfs to have a chance aginst something like that.

It's a lot about learning and pushing your self to do more than you would on your own.
