This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

heheheh, fire fire

hey guys, i got bored and watched a movie and the combination of both struck me like a 30 lb. bag of potatoes droped from the top of the space needle onto your left testicle. you get the point. anyways ive got a lot of sugar in my blood stream right now so heres the pic. I will apreciate all ideas for texturing and fire details. THANKS GUYS!

i dont know about the blue fire, im still kinda nubish when it comes to these wacky particle effects, but i can make it a gold talismanuser added image

Ok , try adding up more glow intensity to the materials 'special effects', and as for the fire... try deleding the color node (line) in the hypershade between your material and the thing it's using, and replace it with something blue user added image

I dont know how thick the model is because of the angle of the render so you might want to change the angel or make it thicker to show that its not made out of paper or something..haha, make it look sturdier, you know?
