Flower Power !

hi guys....
well i wanted to create a "flower opening" for a seasonal promo video..i tried alot..in maya paint effects but still that look does'nt satisfy, Any one here knows way to work around with Flowers(painteffects) or how to create realistic ones, i mean close to nature.

If the paintfx ones aren't satisfactory, probably best thing to do is to actually model one.

modeling

well modeling will be really an headache....creating soficated control will take lot time..and effort...

what do u think about Bionatics NatFX plugin for maya...
is it buy worthit...if anyone have used it....

use paint effects, convert to poly, and then just blend shape user added image

modelling that is easy! then you could use driven keys or even IK to do the flowers opening. Assuming that you wont need too many of them to achieve the look you need.

what? modelling a flower? the pic you have there is more than enough reference I would say. Have a crack at it. All you need to do is model one type of leaf for each of the main ones and then duplicate and adjust them slightly. Should be fairly simple.

yeah i know....how to duplicated i wanted reference abt creating realistic flower u can say natural phenomenon based...
