10 sec clip "Hannibal"

Started blocking in the poses for him yesterday. Everything is just roughed in for now. At the end I am toying with the idea of him grabing a phaser, turning around and blasting some birds on a tree behind him. Right now he is grabing at some other birds in the bird bath. I noticed a faint thud in the music so I have it timed to when he grabs the bird. Comments and crits appriciated.

Here is a small update. My last 10 sec clip i did a few weeks ago ppl were having a hard time relating his poses to what was going on in the dialog. My question is does this work in the clip? I am still unsure of the camera angle. I plan on adding some basic scenery in like a tree with a birds nest and a few birds perched and cartoony clouds in the background.

I like the idea but your character seems a little stiff. Make his heard turn... rotate his eye... They could follow the fly which he eats... etc...

::update::

The conversation is taking place at a cementary. I had originally had it at a the national bird watchers society. At the end of the animation he his reaching for another bird in the bath. I am not sure which setting to go with. I cleaned up his movements. Let me know if I missed something. I am moving on to the eye, and lip sync.

Thanks Kbrown heres an update.

Finished off the facial animation, I am stil looking at changing the setting to the bird watchers society because of the crowd noise in the background. Comments and crits are appreciated.

I'd change his eye movement in the beginning where he says "I do wish we could chat longer...". Generally eyes do not move that smoothly. They tend to pick a target and stick on it even if the head moves. It's better at the end of the clip. Also the little bird could be moving some more in the beginning just to draw some attention... The lip sync is a bit too snappy at some points too... Other wise it's pretty good.
