Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Squash and stretch with Skele

Hello, I'm about to start rigging a spherical character. I was thinking I'd put the basic skeleton in there, but I'd also like it if his body did some squashing and stretching. How would I do this?

You can scale and key the bones... Just make sure you know the number values in the channel box if they are not all zero...

The bonus tools from A|W's site contain some sort of stetchy ik script too - much easier than setting it up manaully and works well from what i saw
