Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

hi...i read through the ford focus tutorial but didn't make all they said...
this is just a wip so I will change the tires and the shader on the car(the reflectivity is a bit too high) and I will surely smooth it one more time... user added image

make sure you smooth this baby down one more time again cause now it looks like ehh....well ...it just doesn't look right...hehe :nervous: ...
the things you said yourself is the thing I would comment about...keep on going with the detail and replace the plane ground with a other tex cause this is.....well...it isn't right :p user added image keep us updated...

good start although you need to add lots of edges to sharpen it up. Add some to arount windows and to the rimholes.

By the way...I've got some updates and will upload them later this day...(going to watch spider-man2 later - nice cg in it !!!)

MMM, I'd really sort those windows out, wheels look fine but if you're following a tutorial try and stick with it or you'll make yourself look a bit silly, no offence, just advice.
