This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
I have rendered an animation as stills, and I wanna make a video of them. I've tried Premiere 7, with Divx 5 the video gets all distorted and with Xvid it crashes the program. What's the most common way to do this? Encode the video to mpeg first? Another program?
there are lots of programs out there. I use a freebie called VideoMach. It doesn't have a lot of features, but it's able to make .avi's and that's all I need.
The free Render Globals tutorial goes over it, as well as rendering in general.
thanks mtmckinley, I'll check the tutorial out. I came up with a temp solution though. I export the video in Premiere to a noncompressed avi (BIG file!) and then make an Xvid or Divx with VirtualDub from it. But I'll check VideoMatch out.
