This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Stereoscopic rendering

Does anyone know of a working MEL script for producing stereoscopic rendering, (or any other method)?? I want to produce some 3D logo presentations – the only information I have at present is that a quad-buffer NVIDIA graphics card will be used.

The only thing I have found, so far, is StereoTurret08 but I think I would need to rewrite the script to make it work (I was, I think written for Maya 5 – and I’m not too good with script as yet)……….

best

Keith

There is a Stereo Camera script in Alias' Maya Bonus Tools, but I've never used it. I think after installing you have to make sure it's turned on the the Plug-in Manager.

Let us know how (if) it works.

Thanks for that Dann...

I managed to get the StereoTurret08.mel to work. The second last line needed to be pointed to the correct directory - it now works fine.

I appreciate your help very much - thanks buddy.
