rendering construction curves

Hi everyone! How does one render construction curves, or other types of "non-renderable" scene items, i.e, the grid? I expect that it can be accomplished but the solution has eluded me. I am using Maya 5. Thanks.user added image

Hmm, i think your wondering if you can set up geometry to use as guides but not have it render.. You can do this by first createing the geometry you useing as the guide, the with it highlighted go to the attributes editor and click on the "Render stats", then untick primary visability...

Hope this helps

There's nothing normal about normals. In FACT i think the are abnormal.
