Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
The first image is really good, but the second image (larger view) seems off...
The view outside the window gives me the impression that its sunset and everything is a little darker than normal high noon sunlight, but the lighting inside the building doesn't quite match IMHO. Some of the shadows are off on the wall below the window I can't even see them they blend right into the wall....
Try reducing the photon intensity a little maybe? Or reposition or maybe even delete some lights where you don't need them.
Is there a light source inside the building we don't see?
Thanx for all, I must agree that the second one looks a bit odd, It has 2 light sources, I tested begginning with one outside point light, then it wos like this.

Hy, thanx for comments, here's an update.
I was thinking of adding curtains and carpet do give a better look, some posters (wanted) also onto wall.
Ideas are very welcom.
