1993 Honda NSX-R
my first complete car
features:
-fully modelled:
doors
seats
dash
petals and steering wheel
engine
suspension
frame
wheels and tires
brakes (rotors and calipers)
fully functional flip up headlights
currently the headers are custom and its future plans include a turbo
took me 2-3 weeks of working 8+ hours a day
i modelled it in polys and switched between sub-d and poly from time to time, the final body was poly converted to sub d and then back to poly using the added polys from the conversion.
id like to share an image of the exterior of the car
later i will add engine, exhaust, suspension, frame pictures if you would like to see also.
what do you think?
this is a VERY rare car, ive only seen one picture online of the real car, and a short video clip, otherwise the only photo i have is from the honda nsx brochure in the early 90's.
the difference between the nsx-r and regular nsx: wheels/seats/steering wheel/marker lights/lack of a/c p/s etc
i bought the tamiya model and modelled every piece that came with the kit and just put them all together in the end to make one complete car.
this is just a simple hdri render using a probe i downloaded off the main hdri site.
if anyone has a good probe for cars, please let me know where i can get it. or any other render suggestions would be great.
thanx guys!
on a side note, im trying to get my website going, so far im having trouble finding a template or style that i like, check it out and post up your websites/nice websites that would be a better starting point for me.
its www.3D-Dan.com btw
not many links work, its pretty horrible right now
on a second side note, when i use an amiosonitc shader (i know i spelled it wrong) it looks good, but as soon as i put a bump map on it i lose the shine, whats up with that?
