Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
Heres my first ever attempt at a realistic model, as well as my first layered shader (cheers to ragecgi for pointing me in the right direction in the newb forum!!)
Please give crits / comments to help me on my way to something realistic! (hopefully)
The reflection of the table in the whiskey seems a bit too high to me, and the picture looks grainy IMO... Other than that, great job as far as I can tell, I really like your render
