Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

concerning maya 6 CPU usage

hi, i see a little bit weird thing,
like when i move, rotate or scale (in wireframe mode), the CPU usage suddenly "jump up 100%".

even if i only right click some object to show its menu, the CPU usage also jumps up to 100%.

wat could be wrong? does ur windows xp (pro) also behave like that?

the same with my win2000. maybe it is meant to be like that, allthough it seems to be odd, you´re right. nevertheless I use some other programs the same time and do not encounter performance problems.

everything starts and ends in the right place at the right time.
