I'm completely new to this forum and to Maya, but I've searched thse forums and could not find an answer to my question. I've created a Lego minifig model in Ldraw ]MLCad to be exact] and converted it to an .obj file [using ldr2obj] so that I could import it into Maya, but once imported, the hat on the character has lost its smooth roundness. It looks like polygonal surfaces instead of the smooth round head it was before. Can anyone assist me with this problem? Any help is most appreciated.
