Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

I want to buy any magazine that has 3d stuff in it. Do you reccomend 3d world?? I use Maya and 3ds Max ( I can't say I like XSI that much compared to Maya or 3ds Max, and nor can I say I like Lightwave3d, but I've only used that for like a day)

thanx

cya later,

Not sure about one that concentrates more on Maya, but I really do think 3D World is excellent, although the covers on the last few issues have not been the best for them (IMHO). The last few have looked more like lads mags than a mag for professionals.

Well if you want the latest software, hardware, and film news, and training then this is a great magazine, but if you are looking for a magazine that really only concentrates on maya training then this isn't for you

there are a few photoshop training magazines out now that only concentrate on training for it, i wish there was one for maya

I only usually get 3d World when there is a good training video on there or an answer to a question i have. A little while back there was a tutorial on how to create a gloss rubber shader which is something that i wanted to do only reason why i got the mag that month.
