I have been modeling a shoe here is pic,

Has you can see the red circle'd (left) one has more green lines then the black circle'd one (right) Does anyone know how to reduce this? How do I decrease the green lines as exactly as the black circle'd marked shoe?
Also when I right click -> Face -> then Edit Polygons -> Extrude Face
After I pull out by move it tool I get 2 face lines o_O why is that? Here is a pic. user added image
