Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
Ok rounded the mouth and pulled the cheeks. Tell me what you think. I have not welded it together yet because still trying to make the face look good. THanks for comments.

Here is a little update trying to fix the mouth...I pulled out the cheeks more and the UVs are done now its time to paint and redo the shell for the third time. Thanks.

Cool, you have done very well but I have to say, the character himself is just kinda weird looking . I think the eyesockets shouldnt go out so much(squish em in) and also the shell is not looking ... natural.
Anyways, I like everything else, especially the boots!
THanks for the comments. Yea the shell I am going to redo for the fourth time. Each time I am getting better so maybe the next time will look better. Well since I started this character I have learned alot about edge loops and keeping everything quads. Again thanks for comments and I will work on the shell.:attn:
