how to make a face ?

hey pplz how do u make a face from 4 verticies like in blender all u do is select the 4 verticies thne press f how do u do it in maya

if you are just wanting to view the face of the object instead of the verticies then simply right click on the object and select 'faces' from the options. You can then select any of the faces on the object by clicking the little white boxes in the middle.

neh thats not wat i ment

i ment lets say

u have two parts here -| |- they are noit connected it isnt a face in between them
- = a face

i want to b able to just select the 4 verticies on those two face and press a button then it creas a face

like -|-|- liek dat O.o hard to xplain i think

but yeh how to make a face from verticies

Youre lucky cause i used to use blender user added image
You mean that if you select 4 verticles in blender and then press F it makes a face.
You can do this in maya by clicking the 4 verticles you want, then go to: edit polygon --> fill hole
