by the way, yes i do play the flute! lol... its my favorite instrument:attn:

i will make everything in maya,using polys, then add small details in zbrush..... like the ridges on the buttons... the textures i will create are:

color=none, built in shader in maxwell
spec= possibly, for scratches
reflection=for scratched
defuse= i dont know what it does, lol
bump=for small scratches
normal= for ver high poly detail(if i need it)

i used to play drums and keyboard, but i GOT bored, lol.... so i took up the flute.. i got inspired by Ian Anderson of the oldies band Jethro Tull. he is amazing at flute, and incorporates it into nearly every song he wrote....

Ok- I got my layout ideas-

I am gonna use bump for sccratches, and to throw off reflections on plastic. Also, I will use metal shaders, plastic, phong, bump for scratches... a few textures

And of course NURBS for the modeling. I am starting- NOW

change of plans- not the razor, it's just far too complex. Instead I probably will model my MP3 Player- Toshiba Gigabeat F10-
