This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
I have created a scene which I am to render. In my scene there is a moving camera which I am supposed to look through when finished. However, I do not know if my camera-motion look nicely from the camera-point-of-view. I do not want to render the whole thing just to see the mistakes I've made.
So, is there any way to see my scene from the camera-animated-point-of-view, without having to render the whole thing?
if you want to see if your camera motion is good without rendering for real, you can just do a playblast (windows->playblast) and maya will basically create a quick and dirty animation comprised of screenshots to give you an idea of how the motion will look.
make sure you have the view you want the playblast to be for as the selected viewport. if you've got an animated camera, change one of your viewports to the camera you've got animated with panels->then choose the camera name... then click playblast, wait a few seconds, and watch away!
