fluids tut?

hi this is my first post
loved the jedi starfighter dvd
just woundering if a fluids tutorial was possible,as this completely
baffles me lol.

If anyone has seen Chronicles of Riddick,could you get
away with using fluids to do the"dark matter drives" on the
"necro" ships, or would particles be a better way to go?
and yeah the gnomon site is cool ,have to do a bit of saving
I think lol.
