Bright random patches from MR rendering

I'm trying to render my scene with Mental Ray.
Then there would be these bright spots that appear.

What are some of the causes of these bright spots?
I'm thinking that it's got something to do with transparency but it seems that other ares without it area also affected.

I've attached the file below.

I'm on Maya 7.

The bright light (circled in red) shouldn't be coming from the ground floor.
E.g. The 2nd & 3rd floor are ok.

There are other random spots in the scene where this is happening
