Complex UV Layout in Maya

fill an hole (nurbs)

I have a nurbs wall,
I want to fill a circular hole in the center of the nurbs wall
but I dont want to convert it in poly.

make a nurbs circle and project it onto the wall, use the trim tool and click the areas of the wall you want to keep.

did u trim tht hole?

if so chose the geometry and go to nurbs menu an there sould be and option for untrim

only works if u rtrimmed it and have history for that item


Now at SMU doing BSc 3D Computer Animation so its hard to get on here

ha appearently i misunderstood your issue. i checked it out and as far as i know the only thing you can do is untrim :s
Edit NURBS>Untrim Surfaces.:p

i suppose you could also always recreate the border curves and remake the surface using birail.
