How to close a NURBS planar hole

Hello, can u help me with this issue?
How can you close a planar hole in a NURBS surface?
For example, you create a curve, and u extrude, or loft it into a surface. Now you have 2 holes, one at the top and one at the bottom. Is there a way to close the 2 holes and then convert the NURBS into a poligonal prism?

as i do, just select the curve n planar it (somewhere above/around loft). ur both holes will be closed n if u want to convert it to polygonal prism, convert all three in to polygons one by one and then combine it. then again, tht's how i do it.
