This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
Hey all, just so you know, i am using David Komorowski's Head Modelling Tutorial to make this one, i am rather new to maya so i am going through different tutorials and learning as much as i can, and perhaps.. maybe one day be as good as some of the artists on this site . Anyways... without further adieu, i give you my Orc head, half completed, let me know what you guys think so far!!
I think that it is a good start, too. You maybe should have used your own pictures for the head and not the ones delivered with the tutorial, but for your first organic modelling it is really a good try.
I would have used my own drawing for him morpher, but right now unfortunately i dont have access to a scanner. So i thought i would just use the pictures that dave offered with the tutorial. Its a good way for beginners to Maya like me to learn things such as polygonal modelling (this tut has taught me /alot/) But i will keep you guys posted, after i am finished modelling i am gonna try my hand at texturing him . Wish me luck .
Well i have been just sort of playing around with him, but after getting it finally like i want, i notice i have deleted something, or tweaked it while it was smoothed heheh, so i havent got too far but this is a smoothed mesh tell me what you guys think.
Thanks guys, it means alot to me, but i mean... its not that good . Unsendth, you rule in any technical modelling, i am so envious of your Blackhawk UH-60. *grins* But again thanks for the encouragement , now heres another small update.
he still looks a bit too friendly for an orc, but coming along real nice. not sure if you do that later, but the stitch where the halfs meet need be changed sometime though ...
