Water..

K can somebody please help me with this?


i want to make this look real a listic (water wise) not the modeling... but the water..........


i did a quick render... How the heck do i make good water?/

Is it for an animation, cause if not you could just use a photo with a normal map.

I would make an environement (poss use a HDR skydome), then render with mental ray and have a look, you get decent results that way with a tweek of the shader, as at the moment your water has nothing to light it, its just sitting there

But... I know that but what i really want to know is like on beachs the water is tranzparent right by the shore.

How would i do that here?

look in the ocean shader options, im sure theres options in there to change the transparancy
