Grouping objects??

Hi I am having some grouping issues. So say i have two items, i select the 1st, then Shift+select the second...then hit cntrl+G (mac) and now its grouped (both items are now green) but if i select either of the 2 objects after the grouping... they still behave individually...?the only way i can actually select them as a group is in the hypergraph hierarchy>>>>is this the only way to select the group?? :headbang:

Hi,

if you select one of the objects in the group and then hit the up arrow on your keyboard the selection will move a step up in the heirarchy making the whole group selected.

Take it easy,

Mat.
