rendering out with mental ray

So i have a pice that is all done, when I view it in the render preview it looks great. So then i keyframed 1frame and wanted to render an image...I tried tiff, jpeg, psd, the image gets messed up???what is the best format to render it out..thanks

Tiffs or Targas are usually the best to render out with.

Umm>>still not working

I dont know if im doing something wrong or what...but no matter what image format i use targe, tiff, whatever...the image highlights are all one solid color...like greay for example...this is using an hdr image map for lighting>???
