Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

The program Poser

I checked this program out and it seems like it is kinda cheating, if you were a good 3D artist you would just make a person and animate them on your own. Do other people think this program is a joke or helpful? Wierd topic haha but just thought i would ask

Poser isn't cheap and you'd get sued for using their models for profit anyway. Poser is best for - well poses. You import your rigged characters into Poser and pose them. Poser also has a nice renderer too. But the program is really steered towards animation.

No, I mean you can't use their models for your own profit like in a game or something and then say that you built the model yourself.
