I have a problem with saving the Maya configs/shelves etc. in Maya 4.5 that I'm running on WinXp Pro. When I try to save them from Maya it doesn't work and I get an error that the prefs weren't saved. I first have to delete the old prefs/shevles files by hand then I can save the new ones which is quite annoying.
And no I have admin rights and no files or folders are write protected.
Wonder somebody had this issue before and knows a solution?

I don't think anyone is ignoring you. They just may not have a solution to your problem. Unfortunately, I don't have one either.

It's funny, but every time I see a problem like this it also has WinXP in the post
