Motion Path Animation problem

Hello, i am currently trying to have a spaceship follow along an ep curve using the motion path tool. I put in a placeholder for my ship, which is just a sphere flattened out to a disc. When i select the disc and then the ep curve and go to Animate > Motion Paths > Attach to Motion Path, the object disappears. Would anyone know why this would happen? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
-Julio

Go to Modify > Centre Pivot.

Try again.

If that is not working then your starting point is on other side of your curve., which makes your object jump to the other side or location of the starting point.

Also for testing reasons, always reset your tools, might be a tool setting that is not correct. And then from there work on the pivot direction, frames etc..

hope it helps, have fun.
