Editing start and end frame of object on motion path?

Hey,

I'm setting up some render cams, attached to curves to define their motion paths.

I like there motion, but sometimes want to change the timing. I've tried to do if from the path node, the cam and curve nodes, and the graph editor but can't see how.

So if I've got the motion defined as say between frames 0-100, and decide this is to slow, can I change it to 0-70 or do I have to un-attach and create a new path?

cheers

gubar

Have you tried setting motion path keys? (select camera Animate>Motion Path>Set Motion Path Key)

Hi there,

I've had a look at that, and I believe that it's for setting keys for attributes such as roll and twist, rather than the u value along the curve unfortunately.

cheers

if you have an object following a motion path then it has a starting and an ending keyframe... just select the object on the motion path and then move the end keyframe from frame 100 to frame 70 in the timeline.

Accept no substitutions.

To move your keyframes on a motion path, middle click and drag it, this will change the timing between frames...
