Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
...And I'm having the same problem with supplied maya files. They open up way off far from 'default home', and the rotation is askew as well. Just want to place a poly ground plane, enter some numbers, and hey! presto! there are my files in the viewport!
